Trip Across the USA (Part 1)
Being a pilot there are some really fun jobs that your get paid to do. One of my favorite is to ferry helicopters across the US. I will chronicle over a couple of blogs my latest trip from Torrance, CA to Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

XC to Edna
Cross country planning the old fashion way is how we teach at Alamo; plotting way points, mileage and speed conversions, fuel consumption, weather briefings, etc. By the time the student has finished all their planning (usually takes a couple of hours) they are very excited too get on their way.
