Justin is currently working on his instrument rating with Chief Flight Instructor Scott Elliott. Here are few photos from a training session last week. Justin is shown wearing the IFR Hood. This hood is effective at restricting a pilot’s vision to the instruments and blocks out outside references. Scott said “Justin was practicing simulated instrument flying at around 2000 feet, making an approach into the San Marcos Airport”.
Luke and Steve flew this week working towards their private pilot certificate, Clay ( a commercial fixed wing pilot) flew many hours this week working towards his helicopter add, our Summer Ground School classes started this week and we also did a Discovery flight! We are so excited for all our students. They are working so hard to reach their goals.
